Peta Owens-Liston is a writer and editor with extensive experience in magazine writing and marketing communications writing. She has interviewed the likes of former-Olympian Picabo Street, upcoming presidential nominee Mitt Romney, Salt Lake City mayor Rocky Anderson, Wired Magazine founders, and polygamist Tom Green. As a Utah-based reporter for TIME Magazine, she has reported on and written numerous stories of national interest including the Elizabeth Smart abduction, 2002 Olympic security, and the Warren Jeff's arrest. www.time.com

While she prides herself on being a versatile writer, people profiles are what come most naturally. Peta approaches interviewees with a desire to understand and learn; in turn, she relates the individual’s unique perspectives and depth of personality to her readers. Chefs, politicians, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs and company employees, and even society's "outsiders" have allowed Peta to share their stories through her writing.

Her job is to make the editor's job easier. Peta does this by coming up with original ideas; organizing interviews, photographers, and media passes for events; and, most importantly, by submitting work that is ready for publication.
